J.J. Vicars & The Desiatos are dedicated to the craft of real-deal Rock ’n’ Roll Boogie. With a sound built on the foundation of the Blues and the energy of the garage, the band focuses on a down-to-earth, back-to-basics approach that captures the raw spirit of every room they play. From the studio to the stage, it’s about the song, the sweat, and the soul.
Music for the neon-lit fringe: part Blues, part Garage, and entirely unrefined. Played with the throttle wide open and the brakes cut, bringing a sound that feels like a high-speed chase through a neon-lit alleyway—raw, rattling, and gloriously unrefined. It’s a back-to-basics assault that trades polished perfection for pure, kinetic energy.
Snarling guitar and rough-hewn vocals couple with rumbling bass and a driving backbeat for a good time gumbo of Blues rockin' boogie. Driving shuffles and blazing rockers are contrasted with simmering Blues and elegaic ballads. And when they rock it is positively strident.
